To meet the new fire safety standards as set out by the NSW Government you will need a basic understanding of your building type and associated requirements and ensure you are compliant prior to being able to register on the online STRA Register.

EVACUATION DIAGRAMS
An evacuation diagram must now be affixed to or adjacent to the entrance door of any short term rental accommodation as well as in every bedroom.
Who can assist?
In most instances your fire solutions company will be able to assist also with evacuation diagrams as required. If you already have the required smoke alarms and safety equipment in place then you may only need to add evacuation diagrams and and an emergency information booklet. We can assist you in the delivery of these requirements.
EMERGENCY INFORMATION BOOKLET
The importance of planning now, so that risks are known and what to do in the event of an emergency, can save the lives of your guests and visitors. It can also minimise damage to your property and possessions.
An Information Booklet needs to include potential hazards, how guests can remain informed at a time of emergency and where guests should go and what they should do in the event of a natural disaster.
