 From Nov 1st 2021, all short term holiday rentals will be required to register as hosts on the Short-Term Rental Accommodation Register. Failure to do so will mean hosts and managing agents will be unable to advertise on platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com and Stayz or host guests in short term rental accommodation.

Before you can register on the Short-Term Rental Accommodation Register there are a number of requirements you must fulfill. CODE OF CONDUCT

Formulate the below documentation so you meet the following requirements as outlined in the Code of Conduct:

  • Contact Strata, in writing, to request a copy of the by laws and to advise that the property is being used as STRA.

  • Contact the neighbours, in writing, to formally advise that the property is being used as STRA and to provide emergency contact details of the host or managing agent.

  • Provide a combined PDF with the Code of Conduct and By Laws (if applicable) for provision to your guests.

STRA REGISTER

Ready you for registration on the Short-Term Rental Accommodation register. Failure to do so by Nov 1st 2021 will result in owners and hosts being unable to advertise their property on booking platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com and Stayz. Once all documents have been formulated we will send you step by step instructions on how to finalise your registration.
